The decision of whether the oven should run on gas or with aromatic charcoal can now be made simultaneously and depends only on the time you can dedicate to your guests. On the weekend, you can take the time to enjoy dishes cooked with the aroma of a traditional wood-fired oven, while midweek, when time is scarcer, you can rely on the gas oven. Piero is compact, ideal for large spaces, but also perfect for small areas. It's a great hybrid oven: pizzas can be baked indirectly with gas or directly with wood. It's equipped with a baking tray measuring 60×50, on which two pizzas can be baked simultaneously in the gas version.
Piero is equipped with refractory chamotte bricks certified for use in the food industry and offering very high performance: The ideal thickness and composition of the clay allow for the creation of a dry environment which, combined with heat, results in aromatic and perfectly baked foods. With Piero, temperatures of over 400°C with wood and 350°C with gas can be reached. Important: If you are a fan of Neapolitan pizza and accept only it, we recommend choosing another oven. However, if you want to own an absolutely fantastic-looking, innovative, and versatile oven in which you can prepare not only pizza Romana or ciabatta bread and all kinds of "al forno" dishes, then Piero will delight you.
