...and what you can expect from Effeuno at Furnite.bg in 2025.
I promised that there would be at least one post on our blog every month in 2025, and I kept my word (at least for January :p). So let's see what we start with in the new year. Customers often ask us which oven is the right one. And whether electric ovens are powerful enough at all. And in general, are gas or wood much better? I'd like to take this opportunity to write a bit about the main points with electric ovens we sell from Effeuno, what you should consider when making a purchase decision, and in particular the different Effeuno product lines. Finally, I'll give you a brief forecast of which Effeuno products you can expect from us in 2025. We're very much looking forward to some new devices and accessories, and we're happy to pass this joy on to you.

Electric vs Gas oven for home use
Customers come to us wanting a pizza oven for indoor use, and ask whether a gas or electric oven is better. Here we are quite clear: for indoor use we have to exclude gas ovens for health reasons and for your safety. And if you're an adrenaline junkie and open all the doors and windows while you're baking pizza in your living room with your gas oven, wasps, flies and other pests will come in during the summer, and you'll freeze during the winter. Both of these options are certainly not optimal. So for us, this is about only the best electric pizza ovens on the market, which we are absolutely convinced of from our personal experience using them (I own a P134H 509 myself): the Effeuno ovens and their entry level brand Effe Ovens.
Why Effeuno electric ovens for indoor use?
With ovens from Effeuno, you get fully developed machines that give you consistent baking results with little frustration (mistakes usually happen in front of the devices, it's said). As long as you've connected the ovens to a specially secured outlet (the electrical wiring and fuse box in your house will thank you), the Effeuno products heat up in no time (from personal experience between 10 and 20 minutes to a stone temperature of 350 to 400 degrees) and are ready to bake pizza after pizza for you thanks to their advanced design with excellent insulation and huge power output (most ovens easily reach 500 degrees Celsius and more). Thanks to the door design (from the Easy Pizza line up with multiple glass panes, almost Cool Touch) and efficient heating elements, you also have a very short stone regeneration phase between pizzas before you can put the next pizza in.

The stones used by Effeuno (whether it is the classic Saputo Biscotto, which is unfortunately no longer available, or the modern Effeuno pizza stone) store the heat perfectly and do not reflect it like a cordierite stone as a deflector, but radiate it more evenly. The result is perfectly baked pizza bases that have exactly the desired level depending on the type of pizza. I've never encountered completely black burnt bases with Effeuno ovens, which can be the case with cordierite if you're not careful. There will be a comparison of different pizza stones on the blog in the near future. Then I'll include the Refractory thin stone and show the differences.

However, you should know one thing. Due to the construction of the door, pizza toppings are always baked. You will say: yes, what else? - I mean, some pizza makers prefer little or no browning of the mozzarella or other toppings on Neapolitan pizza, which should just melt, not bake and brown at high temperature. In an open gas or wood oven, for example, you can adjust this by holding the pizza slider over it. This, of course, is not possible with the Effeuno due to its construction. However, with a bit of practice in adjusting the temperature (and everyone's taste is different), it's no problem to get the toppings just the way you want them. The big advantage of Effeuno ovens is the evenness that can be achieved. I have a habit of flipping the pizza once every 90 seconds or so, but there are customer reports that confirm this is not necessary.
Okay, but which oven to buy now?
Alright, let's take a look together at which lines Effeuno offers and what differences we can identify to make your buying decision easier. The Effeuno ovens that we offer at Furnite.bg as the official distributor for Bulgaria, Romania and Greece are from these product lines:
N Line (1 heating element)
Easy Pizza Classic (2 heating elements)
Easy Pizza Evolution (2 heating elements with digital control)
Gara Evolution (high-end spaceship)

Effeovens' N Line entry-level ovens are ideal for baking Neapolitan pizzas. These ovens are equipped with a single heating element and are easily controlled using the central control dial. The N Line series is recommended for price-conscious customers and for home use only, as it takes a little longer to heat up due to the single heating element and is simply entry level. However, you can bake perfect pizzas with the N3 or N4 models we offer, for example. For example, you can find the N3 here in the shop.

The next level is represented by the Easy Pizza Classic ovens. Here we are already talking about professional ovens. With these models, home users get the performance of professional ovens from Italian restaurants in a compact design for the home. These ovens are also approved for professional use, for example in small bistros or cafés. In this range there are different models with low (P134H 509) or high baking chamber (P134 HA 509) or even with two levels (P234). Due to the manual control and built-in thermostats, the temperature in the chamber can deviate by up to 15/20 degrees from the set temperature, which is typical of any electric oven that is not digitally controlled. This can be a problem for some perfectionists, but can be managed - especially by regularly using a laser thermometer to monitor the temperature inside. You can find a test of the P134H 509 from the Easy Pizza Classic line here on the blog. Or you take a look at the P134H 509 in store here.

Let's move on to the next (evolutionary) stage. Easy Pizza Evolution (available as H and HA) is a professional oven used by both home users and professionals. Like the high-end industrial ovens, it has digital controls and PID control which, in combination with the electronic thermocouples, increases temperature accuracy to within 1/2 degree of the set temperature. This line has more powerful heating elements than the classic easy pizza, but the average energy consumption is actually lower thanks to the PID technology. 28 programs are preset in this line as well, and the pizza maker can simply select the desired program (e.g. Neapolitan pizza, pizza with tray, etc.), press "Play" and let the oven do all the work. Programs can be edited and the oven can be kept up to date through regular firmware updates.
Other advantages of the digital control used: there is a built-in timer (cooling function so you know exactly when to flip the pizza after 45 or 50 seconds). Heats the oven faster and restores the temperature of the pizza stone faster between baking thanks to the "Extra Power" function, which gives off its power more efficiently thanks to the digital control and 200 W more power than regular Easy Pizza ovens. Finally, it looks really great with those digital controls. These ovens also always come with a laser thermometer so you can keep track of everything. Check the P134H Evo Extra out here.

And now for the best of the best. The Gara Evolution has the same technology as the Evolution Line, but is even better insulated and can reach up to 550°C, allowing you to bake a Neapolitan pizza in 60 seconds. (All other ovens can bake a Neapolitan pizza in 90 seconds). The Gara Evolution is the spaceship of Effeuno appliances. It comes with two different stones (Saputo Biscotto and Effeuno V2) and leaves nothing to be desired. The Gara Evolution is the high-tech appliance for anyone who expects professional results anytime, anywhere. It offers unrivalled performance in a slim and compact design. Whether you're hosting a pizza night or you want to win a pizza baking competition at home, this oven is built to deliver exceptional results every time. An oven for home professionals and pizza bakers with exceptional skills or for those who want to become one. Also suitable for small pizza restaurants. You can find the Gara Evolution in our shop here.
The exact specifications of the models can be found in the product descriptions in our shop. But one thing is the same for all ovens: they are all AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana - Association for Authentic Neapolitan Pizza) certified.
That's all well and good, but do you have these models in 2025?

Calm down! We have them all, and we have even more planned for 2025. Not only the popular models like the P134H and N3 will be available in the store again, but also the P134HA from the Evo series with a high baking chamber for everyone who loves to bake bread. We'll also be adding the steamer to the programme, a clever gadget that equips your Effeuno oven with a steam function when baking focaccia or bread. This gadget ensures that the dough rises better in the oven and has a wonderfully browned crust (I've been baking steam-assisted bread for a long time). For the N3 models and Easy Pizza lines, we will also offer matching bases (which sounds much better in Italian: Carrello) on which you can place your ovens as befits their status and ride them around your home like a baby in a stroller. Cool, right?

Now you can order Gara from us. The oven is always delivered to order at Effeuno and can take a few weeks to arrive. However, we will work with you to find a solution by providing you with a test oven for the transition period so you don't have to miss out on baking a pizza while you wait. Please check our website regularly for all the products we have in our program from about mid-February. We'll be gradually adding all of these great items to the online store.
And as always, if you have any questions about our products, feel free to contact us. I am always happy to answer your questions and look forward to hearing from you. Just drop me an email at Bernie@furnite.bg
